BIO-SOLUBLE FIBRES

High-temperature wool made from bio-soluble alkaline earth silicate fibres is used as a component in refractory lining for temperatures around 1000°C. These fibres are not classified as hazardous and can be used as a substitute for high-temperature wool made from aluminium silicate fibres, where conditions are suitable.

Products made from alkaline earth silicate fibres are available in a range of product types and classification temperatures up to 1400°C.
